Are Your Goals SMART Enough for Success?
This learning module teaches the learner the process of writing a SMART goal that can be applied to personal and professional goals. The course is interactive, and the learner demonstrates understanding by creating a SMART goal to conclude the lesson.
Process: I consulted an administrator as my SME to develop an action map and establish the learning objective for this project. We decided to measure learner progress, and whether the learning objective has been met, by using a learner satisfaction survey that measures their ability to write a SMART goal after completing the course.
Action mapping was performed to analyze the problem and identify solutions that would challenge the learners while they practice the learned knowledge.
This learning module would be best if paired with a hands-on workshop so that participants have the ability to practice the skill by applying newly learned skills.
